ravena_kadeDad's procedure went well. It took 90 minutes to insert the clip into his heart. It took 9.50 hours to recover.
If they had told me that was the way it would have been I would have left and maybe gone to the MFA for a bit. But no.
Makes for a long day.
The doctor was pleased with the results and thinks this will help with the shortness of breath and fatigue.Maybe it will help with my fatigue too In the science of things I have read that this could give him 5 more years.
He can drive in 2 days. We just have to make sure the vein doesn't start bleeding before the incision heals as
he could bleed out.
I also have to go to the pharmacy tomorrow and get him a prescription for a blood thinner. He will take that for 3 months.
So far there isn't a follow up. I just have to watch him for a week.
I am tired.
I need to get stuff done for next week's craft show.
Tomorrow I will follow up with the contact I have for Arbella.
