Had another meeting withe the career person.

My linked in profile looks good. Okay.

I am searching for jobs correctly its just that no one does what I do. Um...there are thousands of office workers out there. There must be different key words. I am not an accountant, I am not a skilled admin... I am Business Operations. Her advice was to be someone else.

She also thinks that maybe I could find someone to write a recommendation for liked in that it may help. May? Really?


And I opened the mail and found that because the property taxes have gone up my mortgage is going up $200 a month.

Who I am and what I want is just not good enough. I need to be someone else.

I think my problem is that I have never held a job that I liked that could support my folks. I loved loved loved ceramics. Its part of who I am. I really liked working for the Congregational church for a short time too. My heart wants to be done...but I needed to be 62.

I don't think this person is very good at their job. You're not supposed to lie during a job hunt, so WTF are they doing giving this sort of advice?!?!

You ARE good enough. Don't forget that.
