Applied for a job at Arbella Insurance here in Quincy.

Arbella has won all sorts of awards for being a great place to work even if they only have 5 holidays. Because of the location it would be a longer commute than the bank in Dorchester, but it is doable without a car.

They have a gym and a nurse in the building like my first job.

It's also a hybrid position... 3 days in and 2 remote.

One of the cousins works there and if everything wasn't a competition I would ask her to put in a recommendation for me. This job does not sound like its in her department. I would hire 10 of my cousins as she is a smart and hard worker...trains quicker than me and is faster than me. We have worked together a couple times over the years. Right now I would rather not.

I hope I get a bite. My cover letter was confident because I have 34 years of insurance and I was good at that job even if it drove me crazy.

Good luck! And definitely contact your cousin, don't be shy about it. Even if it isn't her department. She can at least get your resume in front of the hiring manager. Every little bit helps!
