ravena_kadeSpent hours at the Dr office yesterday with Dad. Sigh. This morning he put on 2 pounds... so all the fluid that they drained out of him was back. In trying to figure what was going on I find out he drank a 20 oz Diet Pepsi and 2 bottles of water last night. I ask if he understood his fluid restriction. He said he was thirsty and that's what he wanted. Grrrrrr.
Attended my last team meeting for work. The way the discussions went everyone, but me, was thanked for their hard work and the boss wants to reward them...then says some things stating that another person will h=be helping out the team as the system will not be ready this year. That and they are not closing the building so they will be there until 2025. They way it was said points my job is still there, but they wanted to save someone else so thats why they haven't been listening to me or offering me any development. Kind of a quiet fire because the like someone else better. I became mad. Wolverine mad. Hulk mad. I sent a text to the team lead telling her that I was signing off because this conversation tells me that management and you planned to get rid of me since January. And if it was just me I wouldn't care but it puts my family at risk. I walked away for an hour. I come back and she said she was sorry. I said I have 12 days left.
I did get one more thing off my plate. I have my new state ID. Its one of the real IDs so I can fly. I was getting a little anxious as my appointment was for 4:20 and it was after 5. I calmed down a bit as I talked to the woman who was filling out my info She had had a stroke and has lost the use of her right hand so she could only type with her left. She seemed happy that I was friendly.

Lately I haven't even been able to have any vacation time that doesn't involve medical stuff for him.. And now I cant get many appointments before I run out of Insurance in November.
