Spent 2.5 hours at Dad's follow up Dr appointment. His BP was very low again, but he has no symptoms. The staff becomes alarmed... and that triggers a ton of stress on me. I told the NP that we were in the hospital last week for that and all they did was take a test and send him home after 5 days. She went to grab 2 Doctor's and they checked Dad over and said okay. They tell me that this is part of Congestive Heart Failure. Is he drinking enough water. Um... he's on a fluid restriction... Round and round it goes. Sigh.

I think its the fact that he takes his BP before going to work...so he wakes up strongish...then takes a handful of heart pills and they drop his BP for the day. His primary come in as soon as she finished with a patient. She said I could be right or that he's not drinking enough, or that his heart just isn't going to work right.

I have another appointment at 9 AM next Thursday, then 2 appointments on Oct 20, then a test on Oct 30, the a procedure on Nov 9...and then it will be follow ups again. Ho do I get a Job? He is not competent enough to understand and remember anything a medical person tells him.

I have had my sister added to his Healthcare Proxy... just in case I loose it and just flop.

It doesn't help that the doctors can't seem to make up their minds. UGH...
Let's start eliminating some of these possibilities people. :o :o :o
Have they suggested that he space out some of his meds? See if that changes things?
