ravena_kadeToday was long and pointless... well, I guess the point is to get 52 days more pay.
The boss only said thank you to me for repainting the base of the Christmas Tree. She offered to pay me more money, but I didn't want it. So for all the crying...and I was told she cried a lot at the meeting where she told the others that I was let go, they meant nothing. Those tears were for herself... perhaps envisioning how much it sucks to be tossed away after many years...who knows. She never asked if I was okay and doesnt seem interested in the transition of my work.
I found it hard to work when I cant find a point. When I was let go at the insurance company the whole devision was let go so we had a shared experience and we had something we were working towards as a group as the company basically said if we didnt transfer the work and train successfully then we would not receive a package...
My team lead also clearly does not understand teh VISA account and I spent an hour with her. The IT people that are supposed to automate the account still dont have a clue and after speaking with them I found out that they are only just getting to the documentation I have been sending them since July. And I was laid off? I should have been laid off when they pulled the trigger on the automation. I told the team lead that this is her nightmare now. Im out in 52 days.
