Sep. 11th, 2023 05:20 pmToday I was able to tackle the list of things to do
- Mam. Squish Test before I loose insurance. Let's hope lefty's popcorn is just that and hasn't turned into
anything else.
- Eye exam before I run out of insurance. The infection I had running most of the summer is gone so I wanted
be checked and get glasses before I have no insurance.
- An appointment with the RMV for 10/6 to renew my ID I had more than a dozen people tell me to do it on
line, but it wouldn't work. I called today to get help and they tech said that my browser was too old...then
they looked at my ID number and said that because of when it was issued I would have to come into the
office. They helped me bump my appointment up.
- Started browsing indeed. I had trouble yesterday with it...but I figure it was the same old browser issue that
made thing look wonky. My browser is 7 years old. My next week's to do list is to set up the new lap top
and printer.
- Had an Electrophysiologist appointment today with Dad and they say his defib/pace device is doing well.
We don't have to go back for a year.
- fixed the boss' repainted Christmas tree base. I re painted it over the weekend and when I sealed it the
off white paint crawled. I had to fix that so I can get it off the property.
Tomorrow I make eye contact with the boss. I believe her tears were of the crocodilian kind so I wouldn't say anything to her. I need toggle her back all the mail for the overtime project. I am not going to do that. I have personal medical stuff to try and get done in the next 53 days.
It wont be the same as when I was let go from the insurance company. When I left there I stood on the front steps and said "Free at Last". When I was fired from the pen place I cried as I was never fired before. I worked so hard and that place was like a gulag. It made me step off a curb in front of a bus.... Here... the boss was just an asshole and I didn't fit in.

the tech said that my browser was too old
You should be able to upgrade your browser on your current computer. *googles* That's stupid, the version of your Safari browser is tied to your MacOS version? Might be time to try to install Firefox, which you CAN update.

Yay!
