Someone I know rather well told people to look for me at King Richards this weekend. They know me well but have forgotten that I haven't been to KRF since I parted ways with a long time friend. Odd how at the time that gutted me...for months and months...and yet the ghosting of 2014 was far worse...and now I trust very few people...even though that had nothing to do with me per se...just some other wack job...who may also be a psychopath. And then my Mother's death...well that just killed half of me. 7 years ago now she went 100% blind. On 9/11 she went to the ER... everyone get your vision checked......

If I went to King Dicks I probably would have come back with a sword... I have been in a mood lately and regret giving my old one away...Im not sure why, but I do.

The dog that tagged me last week was adopted to a couple on Saturday and then returned Saturday night. His anxiety levels were through the roof and the couple didn't know what to do. Sigh. What moron let people who never had a dog before take a hyper husky. We have a lovely fat Lab that would love them to pieces, to a super cute and friendly french bulldog that would be the apple of their eye... People are stupid.

Tonight I saw the trailer for Godzilla minus 1. My Mother loved Godzilla movies. This one goes back to post WWII. It looks like the Japanese are putting the scary back into Godzilla. I'll have to take myself to see it in the IMAX.

It's really important that rescue dogs get placed with exactly the right families. It's soul destroying for the dog each time it's returned.

Absolutely on the dogs.

WE had an 8 year old German Shepherd come in a few months ago. He was always a perfect gentleman with all of us volunteers, but sometimes he just didnt want to walk..so he would lay down and not move. Very passive and he weighed over 90 pounds so we couldn't move him. He was funny. Well a 68 year old man adopted him. The guy went on hokes, road motorcycles.. and was very active. The dog was having his best life His previous owners left him tied up in a yard. Sadly the man who adopted him was in a bad car accident and he knew he couldn't keep the dog. The dog came back to us a few weeks ago. And while he was good with us and we gave him a lot go love we knew he wasn't happy. Saturday a guy came in and he was the outdoors sports type and the dog just perked right up. The man had a similar dog that passed away and when he saw this dog he thought he would help and bring the dog home. They roughtthe dog out to the car. They guy opened the trunk to get a blanket and the dog was so excited to get out of the shelter that he hopped into the truck of the car.

Any idea of the hyper husky's origins? I wonder what caused him to be that way. :(

He was a pandemic pup. And when the people went back to work last year he was in the house 14 hours a day alone.

I have a dvd collection of all the Godzilla movies put out by the main director of those movies. :)
Most are in Japanese though. lol......

I have very fond memories of watching dubbed Japanese Godzilla movies on Saturdays with my Mom and sister in the Winter. We would spend Saturdays watching the Creature Double Feature and Ma would make us frozen pizza.

I loathe King Dicks but one of our members dances there so we are going to bite the bullet and go on the 21st, and also go shopping.
