ravena_kadeYesterday's Cardiac appointment went well enough. They did not keep him.
The med increase dropped 4 pounds of fluid so they medical people are not sending out panic signals. Sigh.
Today his weight was 159. Maybe I need some fluid pills Oi.
They took blood work to check the kidneys. All these meds can cause kidney damage. I have not heard back yet.
We liked this NP. She is about my age. She knew how to handle Dad. Not that he is that difficult..only with me. The other NP we had was much younger and really didnt seem to get seniors...she would just talk and not really check in to see if he understood. She knew I understood and moved on. This one made sure he understood as well.
They also explained that if the leaky valves were moderate the could install clips to tighten them. They do this by going through the artery in the groin and not open up the chest again.
If he needs a procedure I hope the do it after I know if I will be working remote or going in to Boston. We had 2 meetings with the higher execs this week and they are telling us they still don't know a date... it could be October, it Could be Christmas. I think that they are trying to negotiate for more money from the property owner to get us out fast and the property owner doesn't like what they asked for.
