Aug. 20th, 2023 08:11 pmI just learned about the Warn Act here in the United States.
DescriptionThe Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 is a U.S. labor law that protects employees, their families, and communities by requiring most employers with 100 or more employees to provide notification 60 calendar days in advance of planned closings and mass layoffs of employees
Just google warn act and your state name and you will see a list of Mass layoffs. It could help folks here. But I dont think it includes plant closings. Just a large reduction in staff.
