Had to take Dad to the Urgent Care place. He cut his finger in work on Tuesday and bandaged it up. He went to clean it yesterday and could not get the bandage all the way off without severe pain. Took him in today. Turns out it was not a cut...he cut the top of his finger off at work. Great. It was not infected...thank goodness. The problem was that the new skin started to heal and healed over the glaze he used.

I also found out that on Tuesday he fell off a truck and hit his head. He fell backwards and way laying in the parking lot. Sigh.

Dad also is having some old man "plumbing issues" Great. May need surgery IF they can put him under with his pacemaker defib device. Great. He has a CT scan on Monday. Then on Wednesday he goes for an echocardiogram.

So in 17 days he has been to 8 dr appointments.

It would be nice if I could schedule my own appointments.

Is it getting to the stage where you need a carer for your own sanity's sake?

I need to figure that out. He still works and makes too much money for any type of program... I I just dont know what type of carer he needs since he works and drives... I need to talk to someone about this.

I had hoped to make it to 62 so I could take early social security and not work FULL time so I could get my sanity in. As of this time last year all the medical people kept telling him how perfect his health was and how young he acted, etc. The last 10 months have been hard on me.
