ravena_kadeMy sister and s/o left on Saturday.
Dad took me out for a belated birthday lunch in Ipswich. I had a lobster roll.
We also went to my favorite nursery and I bought some plants to perk up the color in my yard... after the daylily show of July I need fresh annuals to brighten things up.
Lots of garden work. Withe heavy heavy rains and the neglect of last week the crab grass has invaded.
Yesterday Dad went to Revere Beach with me. I got him to walk the tideline for a bit. I believe it is good for his feet. Since his heart operation and failure he is unsteady so I walked with him. Then settled him one of the covered band stands with the other old timers. He was a kid in this neighborhood so he knows what the local old timers are talking about. If he likes this Ill get hime a folding chair and sit him on the tide line so he can get the salt water on his feet while I go on my walk about.
Came home and went grocery shopping for the week then headed out in the yard for more gardening and a soak in the spa... aka a blow up pool for adults.
