ravena_kadeYesterday we went up to Rockport and went to Halibut state park. It is an old quarry where many of the stones from old Boston Buildings come from. It is very pretty and I would like to go back to paint several places.
The first place that gave me joy was a huge field of Brown Eyed Susan's. I could have spent hours there. I did take photos, but part of the place begs to be painted. We then walked the trails around the quarry and it was very picturesque. Sadly were were there at the wrong time of day. I want to go back at 4 PM...may be 3 PM, bring a picnic and then spend some time with the camera. After that we headed to the titan pools. They were not sandy total pools but pools on a granite rock ledge. I am not a bumble goat when it comes to climbing and I am severs bout dropping my camera gear. Its not the best gear in the world but it is expensive to me.
Then we went to the tourist/art gallery part of Rockport and had lunch and shopped. It was nice.
The annoying thing of the day was that the cousins kept texting me about food for Dad. I told them what he could eat the day before. It is frustrating too that I spend the time with him for the Lasix treatment and he is to where the med people want him to be and one afternoon at the cousins he gained 2 pounds in fluid again.
My sister asked if they did this all the time. I said yes...they ask me because if anything happens they can say I said it was ok. They want absolution. It annoys me to death the they do this.
My sister feels that I am doing the best I can and its too much between this and work... but she cant help me. I know that. When it is time for money I told her I would tap her, but the food stuff is not anything that anyone can help with but him.
Today is a rest day.
Tomorrow we try a whale watch. I would love to see Orca...they are around.
