ravena_kadeLast night the ceramic shop friend said she received the invite to the city craft show we do. The fee is now $95 a night and she doesn't know if she wants to do it. I would e sad if she didn't as I really really like doing it, but I cant get in on my own because I am not a business. I dont get the balking at $95 because as a shop you cant deduct this as a business expense or advertising. I dont get it, but have have to just get it through my head that she is tired and well isn't passionate about putting her finished wares out there.
I suggested that maybe she does only one night. What night did better for her. She said she couldn't tell because she didnt keep track of the credit card items and some of them were mine. I made $230 in credit card sales on the first night as I sold a big tree a small tree and a nativity. She was surprised that I remembered.
I thought of telling her to book 2 nights and I would do the second under her name.... but then I thought what would be the point of that. If she can't promote her shop why should I. I need to focus on me.
So I supposed I need to figure out what to do to at least get my name on things. Years ago I tried to get a sales tax number but I never got anything back. Maybe the someone at the Art Association could point me in the right direction so I could get into places on my own. I also have to figure out the "Square: that I bought right before I took Dad to the ER in October.
I really need to get off my ass and get these things done. I know my next job will require a second income as Ill probably have to take retail to have a flexible schedule fir all Dad's dr stuff.

I want to find out what artist do. They may not sell anything for a long time.
