ravena_kadeThe painter finished up Thursday late afternoon. He did a good job. The house looks nice. Wish I had the funds to change the color... go well. Looks good. Now to put things back together.
Friday the weather was great...until I got out of work. I went to a new flower place with my ceramic shop friend. We dont mind looking at plants in the rain Picked up a few things. One was a petunia plant that looks like a bee...black and yellow stripes. We grabbed an ice cream and sat at a beach in the car (raining hard).
Saturday I started out weeding the front and the side of the house. The front is 25 t and teh side is 51. It rained on an off so I would go in and out. A few times it was torrential rain...typical for june. We even thad thunder.
This morning I was out at 6 AM. It had rained during teh night and everything was soaked. I planted all the plants for the front. We are going to a cook out today so I needed an early start. All the weeding has my hands hurting to day. Pain meds to the rescue.
I am hoping to et back around 5 and can go out and plant a couple more things. Then its in to make out al the bills for the month. Maybe have a cocktail.

It's getting kind of dry around here. :o
