ravena_kadeShort weeks are always hard. The new system is not great. It could not handle the data for month end so they told us to way more than a day. Then they could only run that so would could not get the work for Friday until Monday morning. They do not run a batch over the weekend. Ummm...that is stupid since the company's main data base runs...and we are to reconcile accounts that run daily on the day. We are out of compliance. Oi.
The painter did all of the boss of the house by Friday. He started the trim. That will take longer as he is replacing any wood that has rotted. Sadly he wont be back until the weather clears. We are in a 3 day N'or Easter and all of next week looks like rain. That hold me up as his ladders are in the yard and the spa is moved away from the house... so I can't get anything straightened out until he's done. I also cant have people over in the yard.
On a weird..maybe funny, maybe not...note. The painter is very quiet. I can only hear him if he moves a ladder. It is a tad unnerving to look up and find a guy at the window when you are on the second floor. One day I knew he was working in the driveway. I went in and pulled off my clothes to lay down for a bit and all of a sudden he was at my bedroom window. Not sure if he saw anything...part of me doesn't care...part thought it was funny as hell.
Today is more like November so I am cooking. Hime Bad BBQ sauce , egg salad for lunch, (low sodium) Roast Chicken, a corned beef (for me)for sandwiches during the week, and maybe I'll try a low sodium pineapple cake recipe after dinner. I also might try and read some.
