ravena_kadeThe Day got better. So many people I know are so far away and I am an alien baby with the family.
I took myself out and about. Went to an art store. I was sad to see that my favorite store with the wooden panels and things closed. I did find a more commercial one and picked up some decent detail brushes for my ceramics. I also found a whimsical draw mermaid book that makes me happy. All the mermaids are cute... and since it is a family friendly book, all the girls are covered. The cutest one, to me, she calls a Sushi Sister and her bathing suit top is made up of fish heads. Too funny. I love it.
I also wandered over to the Apple store. This time I engaged a person right at the front door and said I wanted to do a side by side comparison of models. The person took my name and said she would send someone over. There was a person in front of me. Fine. I wanted about 10 minus and then a nice young tech came over. I was standing at a spot where the two models were that I wanted to compare. He asked me about what I was planning to use it for. We chatted for about 40 minutes. They bigger sexy one is just that bigger and sexy. The other is a newer more updated machine and will feel like a rocket ship compared to the one I have at home. He also suggested a mac mini if I already had a decent monitor at home. Or the 14 in would suit all of my needs too and save me a bit. I like bigger. I went with the 16 inch mac book pro. He also said I could get a crystal orange case for it on Amazon... not as sexy as the orange iMac, but it will still have some bling. Now she just needs a name.
Tomorrow I head to Rockport, There is a new magical apothecary I want to check out...and take some photos. This is why I bought this new machine.
