The cousins called at 10 PM last night to say the hair dresser was coming at 10 am today and did Dad want a hair cut. He needed t. So we went over 10 10 AM to find out the the hair dresser called and said she couldn't make it til noon. Sigh.

The cousins have been home a week. And since Friday Dad has eaten 7 non healthy high sodium meals with them. I now have to re figure out his meds and my meals that I had planned for the next 3 days to compensate. Good grief.

The cousins have also rented a house on the outer banks for next year. Dad wants to go. I hate planning the far in advance because I am afraid to get my hopes up to have it snatched away again. If he went we would have to fly. I think someone with an ICD can fly, but Im not sure of the security because all metal detectors will set off his device. That and he will need a passport as his ID is not a "Real ID" for flying.

I need to renew my ID as well. I let it lapse because of covid. Didn't want to stand in line. Now you have to make an appointment. Someone said that someone did it for them on the phone... but they could tell me how it worked. They didn't know if by phone the person called or used their smart phone. If the point of a real ID is extra security then how you you just do it on line. It would be easier to falsify. The the person who did it for my elderly friend and they just mailed it to her. She showed me the ID. It had a star. So how is this ant more secure?

I was able to get my train ticket for New Hampshire on Friday. It will be my first night away since last year. The cousins will watch Dad. Instructions are to send the ambulance to Boston if he flops. If he keeps eating shitty he will flop. I suppose I'd feel more secure if he believed in Life Insurance. But he didn't. He thinks loosing the house would be an inheritance. Sigh.

Tomorrow I need to text a house painter about a quote for the house.

When I got the real ID on my license I had to do it in person and bring documents from the list they give you in with me. I don’t think you can do it by phone…

It would not be outrageous to think my family is sending me down the

Either KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!!!!! or you can take dad to the hospital next time. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to renew my driver's license back during the pandemic, and they allowed us to do it online if none of your information had changed. So I did it that way, just before they stopped it. :)

His plan is to leave me the house. but he leaves me his part of the mortgage since it wont be paid off in his lifetime. The house was always half mine not all his.

Irks me as I worked 30 years in life insurance. I dont believe in making your relatives rich, but I do believe he needed to have enough to secure a living space for my Mother if he passed first.

All I can do is hope I can find a nice tenant when the time comes. I think I live in a nice part of the city with easy access to transportation and teh expressway.
