ravena_kadeThe last week of work has been terrible. The team lead is looking for another job.
The system that the people from Europe came to show us last week suddenly went live Wednesday. It went live with 400 incidents that need to be addressed. 400. LIVE. SHIT SHOW. I have worked three 16 hour days.
The CEO forced it to go live so we wouldn't have to pay the guys from the tech company any longer. It was Live Wednesday morning, by Thursday afternoon he was throwing a fit because he just started to understand the problems.
I foolishly thought that this would work and be so easy that they'd lay me off. Nope. Not yet.
In other news Dad is not thriving they way he waist January and February. I cant tell if he's just pushing too hard for an 80 year old with a heart that doesnt work right, or if something else is going on. I spoke to the Dr office and they upped a fluid pill in case he's putting on fluid. Then they cancelled his cardiologist appointment for Monday. On Monday I should call to see if his primary care office can see him.
Since I needed a break I took myself to Revere beach after work as it is going to rain tomorrow. The surf was strong. The waves were crashing. Just what I needed. The beach by my house has no real surf as it is a shallow bay. I found another deep sea scallop. It's on my Altar that faces the ocean. I also had a lobster roll. It was a good 3 hours away.
