Working from at home the rest of the week.

Nothing in the news about why the building was evacuated and we are remote until monday... the phone call alert said for safety reason, but they are having essential workers come in. Are they waiting for the building to be bombed?

Maybe they found that the building was unstable somewhere, or perhaps some part has collapsed and they need a structural engineer to check it out? Or perhaps they have received a warning that they might be bombed but I can't imagine that they would allow anyone in the building if that was a realistic possibility or for any reason that someone could be injured (gas leak and such).

Could be, but then it is totally unfair to have the people in who open mail and deal with work coming in by fax.

I wonder if there was a problem with something like not enough heat or low water pressure.

(At least I'm hoping it's something that would mean it was safe for the essential people to be in the office.)
