Yesterday Ma should have turned 80. It bothered me. On 9/11/2016 medical people said she would live to be 100... and in 57 days she was gone.

Yesterday there was a meeting with the people I trained to take over my VISA work. They are screwing it up royally. Their questions made no sense. I was not allowed to train them on what they were doing wrong. My Boss also denied a work flow I had been using for 10 years saying she never heard of that...I have 10 years with or reports that she had to sign off on that say otherwise...lying cow. I was furious. The work is still being done wrong and is a risk to the bank...but no one gives a crap. It was a phone meeting so no one could see me... but I know I sounded pissed. I messaged the team leader and told her that I was angry and that we needed to talk in the morning... Guess who never got a call today.

I have a one on one face to face meeting with the Boss on Tuesday for development. Not that she has any intent on letting me do anything else ... It's just something higher management is making her do. She has only 2 years left so she will do whatever they say so she can make it to 65. I wish I could go to the meeting and say I quit.

Happy the oil came earlier in the week. We will be at -11 at points on Saturday with wind chills of -25. My cost is only rated for -5 so I will be staying in on Saturday. It will be a good day to cook/bake. I think I will make an all day spaghetti sauce... my own cauldron bubbling on the hearth.

The arctic blast is only for a day. I am happy it is short. Looking forward to getting out and about next week...maybe get some social time in.

I think your bank would crash and burn if you left or at the very least get a grip and sort the staff and procedures out. Lucky boss only having two more years to do...

Boss people are really just worthless. :o :o :o

As they continue to screw up the VISA stuff, will it come back to bite you at all?
If not, I say let them screw up, and try to keep some proof that you offered to help and was refused. :o

I'm so glad you don't have to go out during this cold snap. I was thinking about you and hoping you'd be able to stay indoors and not be outside walking somewhere.

Those people at your work, the manager sounds crazy, sigh. That is when I tell myself 'not my problem'. Let's hope that is the case. But it is sad as you are trying to be a good employee.

I hope that artic blast doesn't have too much 'artic' in it.
