ravena_kadeStill no oil. Sigh. I called. Said I called last week and was under the impression that I would have had a fill up this week. Sigh. They said they would come Monday or Tuesday. I said I had an elder at home who is recovering from open heart surgery so my usage has been higher than in the past. In the last 5 years I have never had any issue with this company. I don't know if they just forgot to take me off the "HOLD" waiting for the new oil tank...and payment to clear (and my checks have cleared). I just want some oil and have one less thing to have anxiety over.
I really wanted to go to BIRKA (an SCA marketplace) and see my friends, but ...sad... Dad still isn't great with his meds and eating and just how to manage sodium intake. He's trying to figure out eating. I even got him to look at labels to find the sodium in things. This is big as he is not a reader, but he is still learning. He was up over a pound today so his food needs to be compensated for. That and people always seem sick at this event...lots of hugs and lots of germs. =(
Today I may be watching my 94 year old aunt. The cousins have a funeral to go to and the Mom just had hand surgery and may not be up to going. They wanted Dad to Aunty sit, but I wanted to be around in case she needed help with with lunch or other things. I found out that one sister fell yesterday and went to the ER...she was okay but all bruised so she may stay home with her Mom, but wasn't sure. Im just waiting for a phone call. If I go I may leave Dad with her a bit and walk the shore line by there house. Its a rocky wrack line and I am always in search of a hag stone or pieces of drift wood.
If I don't go then my goal here is just clean out my fridge and do some reorganization. Then walk my beach. Then maybe read.
