So since Dad tested positive for COVID I asked the floor nurse how often then retested. They said they wont. They usually don't retest for 6 months. WTF

This means that I will just get a call when he is ready to come home...

and if he dies... he dies alone...

Meanwhile I am here painting ceramic Christmas trees. Insanity...

Dad did call me and he feels fine...just depressed. He doesn't know I cant see him until they throw cloths on him and boot him out.

Can you have a test brought to him?

I asked. They said they do not do that.

They thing is that I wont be able to see him this trip until I go get him...and then any trip after he is alone. I will test him when I get him back.

This far into the pandemic it's ridiculous that they don't allow visitors. :o
