ravena_kadeJust got a call that Dad tested positive for COVID.
Most like from when he was in the hospital from the 14th to the 17th. We have not been anywhere else but the hospital.
He has no symptoms. I used my last test and I am not positive.
It means they will not let me in to see him. I am beyond words of panic over that. Not because I think he will get that sick...but because looks toward me when he does not understand things.
I called the cousins in a panic. We are still doing Thanksgiving because we were all together Sunday anyway so we would all have it by now.

Fwiw we both had it as a result of going to my father's funera but were both jabbed up so it felt like a dose of 'flu.
The usual 'flu and cold remedies do help.

Date: 2022-11-24 11:36 am (UTC)I received a call at 11:30 from a Dr and e were both tested on the 15th ...Dad in hospital and me at home and it was negative. He had to get it between the 15th and 17th when he was at the hospital because the both of us have been nowhere else.
My fear is that the medical staff are just going to blame COVID and send him home without working on the right med mix to keep his BP up and Fluid down.
