ravena_kadeWe went to the cardiologist appointment. His BP was so low and he had fluid so the Nurse practitioner said that we wouldn't like her and she was sorry but she needed us to get back to Boston ASAP. They could not make any med changes when he was in this state. That and he looks great on the outside, but he is not. She explained things and wrote a letter and attached and EKG and called Boston to say we were coming in so a space would be available for us. The tricky thing is that she did not want to call an ambulance. If we went in that way they would take him to the closest hospital and they wouldn't get to see him for hours and that he wouldn't get to Boston until tonight or tomorrow.
I wasn't surprised. I have been saying all along that his BP was low. I said to him that he might not go home from the cardiologist's. I just don't understand why they didn't have me stay in Boston when we were there Monday? =( Or why the cardiologist didn't say get him to the hospital when he called me Monday night?
In the ER they gave him a med that raised his BP nicely to 99/74 and they gave him a fluid medicine in an IV. I hope they keep him until they figure out his BP and meds.
I am upset. There are too many similarities between this and my Mother. Ma was tortured for 2 months and then died. Dad has been in a month.. Do I loose him at Christmas? I feel like I am loosing my mind.
Dad wants me to bring turkey dinner to him supper time tomorrow. He wants me to do the Craft show Friday night with my friend.
