Yesterday I went to a picnic at the Crane's Estate...which is the same Crane's as the beach I love.

The picnic was a Roaring 20s affair with live music and people in 1920s clothing. Loved it. Went with brickhousewench. I had such a nice day outside. It poured buckets earlier in the day, but cleared... and we were sprinkled on a tad but nothing worrisome.

Love the music. Loved people watching. Everyone was playful. Almost 98% dressed for it. I had a real life dress that had the shape of a 20's dress. Next year I want a real dress. I just can't see to find vintage in my size and sewing is not my strength.

This was something I have wanted to go to for a few years now, but never figured out how to get up t the place... the road is the same to the beach and too long and too treacherous to walk. I really need to get over my doubts about Uber (yes, lets get into a strangers from the internet's car)

I already know I want to go next year.
