This time of year is really odd for me. As much as I love summer I always look forward to September and October. I love October. But at the same time, when it is quiet, my brain goes over the dates and the events that lead to my Mother's death. The best thing I can do is keep busy.

Today I tried on new garb for a Faire I am helping at next week and I was very pleased. I just need to add a few more bits of orange and the pumpkin pie-rate will be back. I also need a tiny cleavage pumpkin.

I have tomorrow off so I am going to go to Revere Beach and look for seashells. I'll take my camera too. Then I need to come home and work on things.

I have 3 craft shows in a row. The first one is mostly Jewelry and the second 2 are helping my friend with the ceramic shop. Hopefully I can get some things done before any deadlines hit.

I have to make some calls as well. I ordered some new Christmas ceramic molds on 8/24 and have not had a confirmation call. The confirmation email said I would be contacted in 3 business days and it had been over a week.

I feel the same way about this time of year. It is SO hot here that I just want summer to be over. August is always unbearable here though. Our heat wave should break in 4 or 5 days, I hope.

How fun with the ceramics shop! :)

I love doing craft shows...I love meeting people and showing them what I can do creatively. Selling is good too, but I mostly do it for the human contact.

I called on the order. The person taking the orders was out of the office but was supposed to still do this. I hope they call me back Tuesday.
