Friday was a stressful day. Lots of phone calls and non stop texts while I was trying get my accounts done so I could make a train. Oi. So happy to get on that train... I relax on a train as there is nothing I can do for anything. I have told some people that I don't have reception while on a train so they leave me alone.

I was heading west to the Phoenix Swords BBQ. It was nice to visit and chat and enjoy the evening. Good food and a fun fire show. Took some photos to get more practice and fill up that emory card to so I can buy my computer. I also learned a few things about some new computer items to help with my buying decision.

When I got home Saturday the Texas Uncle called me while I was a block away from the house. I called him back pithing 4 minutes. He didn't answer. My aunt did and was annoyed as always. This is why no one likes to call there. Oi. I chatted with my Uncle for an hour. Once again his phone cut out every 10 words he said. I figured he didn't seem to notice..and he was rambling so I just let him go on.

I poked around on line and did some research for a painting. I started drawing/mapping it out. I felt good about that.

Sunday is Dad Day and he wanted to do the usual cousin visit. It was a good day as we played games for a bit and watched a movie. We watched "13 Lives" It was about the boys stuck in a cave in Thailand back in 2018. I found it very engaging.

There may be an opportunity for me to travel with the cousins to a 10 room beach house in North Carolina in April. They will be driving, and be staying a week so I should be able to go if the Boston boss grants me the time... I do not have seniority so anyone can take the time before me. The cousins go places to relax and do nothing. This would be an opportunity for me to be on a new beach, do photography and maybe even paint. The place has a heated pool so none of the cousins will be interested in the beach. I hope I can go.

Glad you had a good BBQ and the trip to the cousins.

I've stayed in a beach house in North Carolina (the Outer Banks). It was fabulous and had it's own boardwalk to the beach which I used to sit on at dawn and watch the sun come up. One of my best holidays ever. We drove there from Ohio! I hope you can go.

This place is on the outer banks too. Do you remember if there were sea shells on the beach? Some places dont have them

There's a LOT of beaches on the Outer Banks and it's a very large area with lots of islands only reached by ferry or private boat. We were based at Kill Devil Hills where there wasn't a noticeable amount of shells but we travelled around a lot from there. I seem to remember Kitty Hawk and Cape Hatteras (near the lighthouse and National Seashore) had them. Ocracoke island was my favourite place, plenty of shells there.
