ravena_kadeMy Aunt's comments of me inviting her to someone else's house without them knowing really bothers me. I got all the barns about how they keep in touch with the cousins and such. They didn't bother me because I know a phone works 2 ways... that and I hate the phone so screw you. The thing that struck was that she would think I would be that rude as to use someone else's house without them knowing or without it being their idea. It bothered me so much that I didn't sleep. I also think it bothered me just as much that I couldn't respond with with what hit my brain first... which was "stope being a twat...my Dad doesn't like you so I wont invite you to his apartment and my place is too small" My Mother would have said it. and I didnt even want a family gathering. Bah!
The Elder Uncle is still in the hospital. His daughter says he looks good, feels good and has no pain, it's just that the cancer is growing. The cousins think she isn't good at reporting details. I reminded them that there are 6 of them and that while one is the caregiver the others do the filling in and talking. This cousin is still grieving the loss of her Mom...processing that her Mom didnt want treatment, the fact that her brother caused a problem at the funeral and no one is speaking to him, and the Dad's brain cancer is growing and she is trying t care fort him, get him to Doctors and radiation appointments and such.. . and process it all. Of course she cant report in. OI. Oi. OI.
Funny thing about work... its dull now... some spreadsheets are so dull that I fall asleep while working them...
Girlie thing. I have always liked lipstick but I have teflon lips and it never stays on. I found one that actually does. 6 hours with eating and drinking.... so I may have colorful lips now and then ;-)
The heatwave has broken. I am glad. Now we just need some rain. Now starts the crafting/painting season. The garden is getting ready for bed. I all do is water and pick the tomatoes and cucumbers. Hopefully I will get some eggplants too.
Tomorrow I head west for a BBQ. Looking forward to that. It means I miss a family picnic. At this point I am glad of that. It's at a lake. I am not a lake girl. I need the sea;-)
Been eyeing computers as my current one is buggy as all get out. The thing is that I have filled that memory card with photos yet so no computer for me... what I am looking at is $2000 without tax or Apple care extended warrantee. Got to put in the work before I get the prize. I also have a fear that the minute I buy the thing I'll be laid off.

The weatherman tonight was saying that the high temps next week are supposed to be in the 70s. :o
I get email ads from HP and I have been eyeing a desk top with a BIG monitor. lol.........
Doubt it will happen any time soon. :o Maybe I could just get the BIG monitor and hook it up to my laptop. LOL.....
