Jul. 29th, 2022 05:17 pmToday I passed VISA on to the trainees. I gave them the opportunity to ask any questions before I left until August 9. All the talked about was their tracking spreadsheet...nothing about the real claims. Oi.
Today in a meeting The Boston Boss announced that her favorite would be working on my team leaders team...my team... great. We laid off a low paid worker 2 weeks ago for an entry level job and now we are getting someone who makes $40 an hour do do the same work? WTF. I called the team lead and told her just to send me an email with what she wants me to do when I get back so I don't take work away from this person. She asked my thoughts. I said I feel this person is not great, . She has no written skills and does not comprehend 60% of what is said to her. Her shifting to this team makes us rather top heavy. The team lead said "Wow, you pull no punches" I said I did hold back. I didn't tell her that the gossip was that this person must have been giving someone oral sex to get this promotion to Associate since she cannot communicate.
The team lead assured me that I should not feel threatened. I said I wasn't threatened. I have never been a favorite because I speak my mind. I understand that. I am just looking for less stress and maybe a lay off next year. I said that she, the team lead should watch her back, as she and this person will compete and this person will throw you to the wolves. The team lead said "like when this person copied the CEO on an email because I (the team lead) could not answer a question? Yes, exactly. That is this person's M.O. Me, my game plan is to just play with spreadsheets and do what you ask me to do.
I decided to leave early. The Boston Boss didn't mind as it saved them on on overtime budget.
Lobster week begins now.
I will go out into the yard after 6. The sun is just to bright for my eyes right now.
