The training on Friday did not get anywhere. Both Thursday and Friday I sent them each a claim for the to look to research with the tools they have if we should pat the claim. The tools are look up the bank settlement sheet for that day on a program, takes 2 minutes, and then use the ATM console to review the actual transaction, take between 3 and 7 minutes. Nope, nothing done. They kept wanting to go over how they would track the requests. I said that I cant help them with that, that I was here to show them the VISA system and the 2 reports they need to analyze. Each claim should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes even if it is complex. Nope. Didn't get to it. There are only 9 training days left.
I called my team lead told her how frustrating it is and that it is causing me to stress...like in mental health stress. I almost stated yelling at them. I started at 3:30 AM on Friday and I cant get anywhere with this team. She is going to attend the Tuesday meeting to tell them as of August 1 I am no longer involved with reconciling the account. I can answer their questions, but it will no longer be my responsibility. They have had a month with a trainer and they are not making any progress. They have 8 days to make the best use of the trainer and then it will just be email questions.
The team lead needs me off this as not only have I absorbed the laid off person's work load, but they need to give me more in mid August.
Yesterday the electrician came and looked at the job. He takes small jobs. Seemed normal. He is going to work up a quote and email me. I mentioned the other people's quotes. He said that many guys wont take small jobs because they want the big money so they were doing more than you needed. This guy is semi retired and is good with little jobs here and there as he takes care of his grand kids. He said that the electrician who put in the outside plug for us make it so we could add 3 line to the box he put up. We have all we need and don't have to mess with adding another electrical panel. Im hoping this quote is reasonable.
After the electrician left I did some errands and worked in the yard. It finally looks normal...well aside from all teh dead grass. This drought is not helping. We need a week of rain... Please dont rain on all my vacation the first week of August.
Today I helped Dad at his work from 8:30AM to Noon. Someone that was helping the boss yesterday and read a pattern wrong and cut out 300 pairs of pants with the wrong left leg. They needed to fix this so the stitchers can work Monday. Dad and boss recut the garments and I matched up items and placed them the correct work stations. Oh boy.
After we went to Ipswich for lunch at the bar and an ice cream. Went to the nursery, but the Corpse flower did not bloom. I did buy some more orange flowers so I will have color after the dallies finish.
