Back in the office 3 days and WFH tomorrow
Apr. 7th, 2022 08:44 pmThe headache lasted 3 days. They used to be like that before the pandemic.
I still cant get the vlookup formula to work on that account I am trying to learn. It has to be a mouse or keying issue that I cannot see. It is infuriating. Monday I am scheduling a call to go over the procedures again...and I will record it on my iPad. Then on Tuesday I will ask Scott a new coworker if he can tell if I am doing anything wrong in my keying.
I told the Boston boss that I was having training issues so so no one could say I was slacking. She told me not to worry as it took weeks for the team leader to be able to process it. She agreed that I should ask Scott if he could watch me to see what could be going wrong.
Other than this migraine inducing frustration the rest f the time in the office was not bad.
My commute is easy. Going in is a 7 minute ride. Coming home is a 15 minute train ride and a walk home that is actually good for me.
The new coworkers all seem very nice. They are also friendly. Not weird. Scott is pleasantly chatty, but not overly chatty, and helpful. One coworker actually gave me a ride home as she was going shopping at a market a few blocks from my house.
The system is FAST. They had to bump up the system when we went remote as our VPN could not handle the traffic. In the process of fixing that they were able to beef up the systems response. Its great.
The Boston Boss has been pretty good. I believe she cant be a shit head when there are plenty of witnesses.
She also had to admit that I am the only one in North America that knows what I do. I think the team leader told her how frustrated I am and that I said was seriously considering getting a job at the market across the street.

Date: 2022-04-15 08:51 pm (UTC)My commute was never an issue.
I didn't expect that the boss would have to be nice in public and not bitchy like she is on the phone. That and I only look at her once a week the way the schedule is now. Its a win win.
