ravena_kadeThe trip down south was good. It was a nice break from home and a good resetting point for myself. Had fun. I haven't seen my friend's since September. Its good to talk to people =)
The faire was nice and had a friendly vibe. It was chilly for me. In the 50s and low 60s, but I got to walk the beach and I walked in the water. Very few shells. I avoided a couple of jelly fish. One looked like a moon jelly, but the others looked like small lion manes...and they have a painful sting. Walking on the wet sand in an the water felt so good. I think I am a Selkie at heart ;-)
One of my friends was going to show me some sword work..I balked a bit as I am not very coordinated...and as I was telling myself okay some folks came by and the moment was gone. Next Time for sure. =) Perhaps I shouldn't have give my sword away.
Was back at work yesterday. Just as much a crap shoot as Last Wednesday. I really like my team leader, but she is a butt kisser. They are pushing me to pass off the VISA work, but no one wants to take it. It is frustrating. I am trying to make a concentrated effort not to get upset... it's not good for my head.
After work I walked the beach. It was almost 70 degrees. My bead said "Welcome back" by giving up 6 scallop shells. Lats year I may have only found one. Maybe the bay scallops are another sign of cleaner water.
Today I had a text that my 93 year old aunt fell and hit her head. They gave her an MRI to make sure she was okay and sent her home. Also found out that 2 of the cousins tested positive for covid and one is pretty sick. Oh boy.
Tomorrow we may get 8 inches of snow (yes, yesterday was almost 70 degrees) I hope not. I want spring. I want to work in the garden.
