Went out to shovel with Dad before dark. There was 28 inches of snow in the driveway and on the sidewalk...and in the street as a plow had not been by. Thankfully it was light snow so not too horrible to shovel.

A plow finally came by at 7 PM so I went to clean out the the endow teh driveway off.

Shoveling is annoying today. Mostly because for Christmas I wanted to get Dad a snow blower. He's 80 and shouldn't shovel..and I am not fond of the task. And I refuse to go out at 3 in the morning to shovel before he leaves for work. He didnt want to go to the store to get one before Christmas and said they would be cheaper after Then I could not get him to go after either. And tonight he is complaining about having to shovel. We'll...if you would just listen to me you wouldn't have to. Oi.


Oh well, it is done. I have some hot cocoa and 800 mg Ibuprofen as I am getting stiff from the shoveling.

I have to admit I waited till the last minute to get my new blower...I meant to get it last year!:\ I was lucky though to get the one I did. Right now due to supply issues there aren't many at the stores, and the ones left are usually the stoopidly expensive ones.

G. who is 70 doesn't want a snow blower either, sigh. And when you need it, you need it. I was thinking about getting one of those electric shovels you plug in, he might agree to that. Or I will just get it!
