I don't have an Instagram, so spitballing here....
Looking at the Post an Entry page in Dreamwidth I see two possible options on both the Rich Text and the HTML tabs: Either Insert Image and copy the address from your browser for the Instagram post, or if there's an embed code (Like YouTube has) you can click Embed Media and copy the embed link into that dialog.
