Bah Hum Bug.

ravena_kadeToday was to be my Christmas dinner with my Dad's sisters.
I have chicken Parm, Stuffed shells and Italian sausage... all ready to be popped into the ovens (I would use mine in the upstairs apartment).
They just called and cancelled because they are unsure of the weather when they would be leaving =(
The prediction is a wintery mix, but it is really too warm for anything to accumulate, but my uncle is worried about the expressway at nigh. I get ut. He is old. And just because my Dad would drive through a volcano to get to work, not everyone is as good a driver (he is very good) and as silly.
I wish they told me that Thursday night as I would not have spent yesterday prepping.
So the cousins will have chicken parm tomorrow. We will have the shells and sausage for dinner... and lunch for the rest of the week.
I am disappointed.
Learning experience. Next time I take them out to eat and we go some place close to them.
I can have them over for BBQ in the nice weather because if they don't show I can spend the day in the garden.
