Today I tried to follow up with the claims department to set up training in December.

Since we have no director and no Vice president to act as muscle the department has decided not to take these claims...even though they are the claims department. The suggested we regroup some time next year.

I am very disappointed but certainly not surprised.

Need to calmly state that I am at capacity and cannot continue to work 2 hours extra evry day and on Sunday nights.

This is office work, not sweat shop work...and I have worked in that environment and been less stressed.

Sigh.

Meanwhile the Boston Boss has not responded or even been bothered to check in with me.

Im so done. Just stick a fork in me.

Im also cold. Very cold.

and I am not cooking dinner tonight....

I'm pretty sure... that's not how that works.... (Directed at your department, not you!)

If I were you, I'd work 40 hours and then log off. Stop working yourself into the ground for a company that DOES NOT treat you well enough to deserve that kind of extra effort. You deserve to have a life outside of work. Everyone does. Screw 'em.
