ravena_kadeI had a phone call this morning...Boston Boss asking if I had a few minutes to chat.. It was before 7 AM.
They are sending VISA away. The Brand New...still wet behind the ears... manager of the claims area said "Sure, we will take it. They are claims" The Boston Boss wants to hand it off like a steaming bag of poop. She claims I don't have to train and that they will work things out on their own. While I would like to believe that I still think it would be shitty to do to some other person. ASAP would be best for my health, but I think by Christmas would be more realistic.
She also tried to tell me that I wasn't going anywhere...that I would not be sent to claims in Rhode Island. The not going anywhere kinds makes my Spidy senses tingle... We shall see.
My team leader is very happy.
We had a 9 am call with the department and I have been elected to attend a luncheon with the CEO. When no one volunteered I said I would go... twirling my inner villain mustache and preparing my villain monologue. Then I heard that the Boston Boss kinda suggested my name to the new VP because I live close. Gee, me not having a car only matters to the Boston Boss when she can slam me for it. Funny. But I believe I still made brownie points with the VP. I need to let other people see that I am good for the teams even if Boston Boss finds me a challenge. I am not shy. I am not afraid to talk with a CEO. Boston Boss also suggested her favorite, but the favorite balked and tried to weasel out of it...even though she lives a 5 minute drive away. I hope the VP caught that the highest paid person on the team doesn't even want to drive 5 minutes... and its not because she is afraid of COVID as she has been to Vietnam 3 times since March 2020 for vacation.
I hope the weather is cool as I have only one business outfit and it is not for summer.
