Frankie has been a little stressed out the last couple days.

He has been prowling in the down stairs kitchen since Sunday. I figure a mouse got in the house.
Well Dad put down a sticky mouse trap behind the fridge. How do I know that? Well at dinner time I hear a light thumping and the car walks into the dining room with a mouse sticky pad stuck to him. I was no amused when Dad say "I new that would happen" Sigh. I grabbed Frankie and took him to the kitchen and pulled off the sticky pad, but he had a a lot of glue on his feet and legs. I remembered that peanut butter would help with gum so I coated his feet in peanut butter. He was not happy but I got the sticky off and I figure licking penautbutter would be better than glue.

I figured he would hide the rest of the night. Nope. I hear another thump on the other side of the kitchen. I was doing something so I really couldn't see him. When I went over I found him eating the mouse. Ick. He beheaded it and was eating it... My little predator. Ewww.

Gawd those glue traps are *awful*. I vowed never to use one again. You have to mouse-ecute the trapped ones or else they die a horrible death by shock and thirst. :(

this. i hope this incident at least gets your Dad to stop using them. poor Frankie. since cats will obsessively clean themselves the glue isn't the best thing for them to get on themselves. :(
