Aug. 17th, 2021 10:35 pmThe wifi dropping is really a pain.
What is a bigger pain is that the Apple laptops no longer have a port to directly wire into the modem. So much for stripping down a product. I wonder if the big iMacs only work on wifi . IF I could ever redo my kitchen I want a computer space and would love an orange iMac.
At least the work computer is okay. Not sure how the modem is fine, but the wifi is not. And I know its not my older computer as the 8 month old iPad looses connection as well. I wonder if it should be the share frame that my sister bought my Dad for Father's Day. It is the only other device hooked up to wifi and is thinly new item within the 3 weeks since this issue has started. I haven't hooked up my Birthday TV yet because I just dont want to deal with it also loosing connection.
On another wierd tech issue...the HD antenna I bought to go with the TV has an odd warning. It says that you shouldn't use it near a space heater or electric blanket. I could understand if it said not to use it in the same electrical outlet, but near confuses me. Does the planet give off an electrical signal that will wreck the antenna or does the antenna tell the electric blanket to cook you?
