ravena_kadeHad a nice day with the Aunties. They were 2 hours late. But all was well when they arrived. They like to chat. It's a mixture of happy memories and medical issues. They remember my Mom in funny and nice ways. The talk to me like I am a real person and not just the support system for my Dad.
My Moms family never speak of her. It's like she has been erased.
Their Husband/Father has been canonized, He was a racist, loud mouthed, and tossed his wife and kids against walls. But he is a saint now. Someone even has a painting commissioned of the dead and the great grand baby. I find the painting creepy AF, mostly because it has no likeness and the eyes are dead i it.
Oh well, enough of that side tangent.
I find myself too tired from all the running up and down stairs yesterday. I prepped in my second floor kitchen and moved everything to the yard. There was a lot of in and out and I manned the grill. Since Dad doesnt do stairs as fast as I do I did all the prep and getting things done and out and he did all the clean up in teh down stairs kitchen.
I am too tired to get to the train for North Shore beach time. Maybe next week. Today I am not going to the cousins. I am going to putter around the garden and use the spa. Its high tide at 2 PM today so I will see if I can walk the house beach and get a dose of salt water... If it is not ridiculously crowded.
