ravena_kadeI was on the phone with my team leader ... I really wish I could just work for her.
She is still freaking out about not knowing if she has to go back into the office and finding child care... or if the husband quits his day job and goes back to the night job. She is upset as the high ups must know by now if our team is a hybrid or not... they just wont say...until it will be too late to find child care...and even then she really doesn't want her 9 year old exposed to covid as she and her husband have compromised immunity and have been told by their docs not to get the vaccine.
I find it asinine putting parents through this now. They tell us that they care about their workers and then the lack of communications freaks everyone out. Some caring. We were told that what we do will be reorganized...but that was in March. No one tells us anything. How long do you wait? People are stressing
She then said that maybe she would be laid off so the husband could keep his day job and she would get a package until she found something else.. I didn't have the heart to tell her that COBRA would kill any package.
