ravena_kadeSo today I had the vax injection site ache and my hands are throbbing. I also have a head ache. Not sure if the hands and head are from the vax or work.
Work today was a repeat of Monday and Tuesday. I cant keep this up. Makes me scream
The PA team member was out again today as her husband took a heart attack yesterday while in the hospital. Sad.
We had the meeting. The boss starts out about the meeting we had last week without her that freaked many people out. She started it by saying she had hoped they called her on vacation to lay her off and was sad she wasn't. Ummm... that is not something you sayto a team that is afraid of being laid off.
I asked about my job... she said I would be doing things just the same until they hire a new vp and that may be next year or more. I said I dont think I can keep this up. She said "oh well. Nothing we can do" Sigh.
I spoke to an IT guy and said that there was nothing wrong with my computer and that I just have to deal with it. I said I start at 4 AM and cant finish my work. He said your manager should get you help. Sigh.
Found out that an elderly uncle has cancer. I have not seen him in a year. =( Found out he had liver cancer last year but didn't tell anyone. They say that is in remission. He now has a small tumor in his lung and on his brain. He said he would try radiation but does not want surgery. =(

Date: 2021-05-07 02:31 am (UTC)We're having issues with people being out right now too, but in our case it's American team members taking time off due to vaccine side effects and a lot of Indian team members dealing with Covid. =(

Your boss has no idea how to talk to people does she? You're right, that's not anything that's going to make her team less anxious about layoffs. Idiot.
