I spent yesterday in the garden. Nice..and tiring at the same time.

The lilac is ready to POP. Maybe next weekend it will be in bloom. Depends on the sun and temp. The azaleas are blooming too.

Last year I planted daffodils and they have popped. I NEED more. =)

We have had gale force winds the last few days. The trash barrels have been driven from the driveway all the way to the back fence.

I am amazed that my coat hanger tick is actually holding up the fence

The wood chuck has made an appearance. He was munching grass and dandelions... I hope he keeps that up.

Next week I go north to buy plants. I also need a new pitchfork as I broke mine.

Planning some yard get togethers for June.

Glad the fence is hanging in there!

I LOVE the smell of lilac. It will be one of the first things I plant if I ever get a house with a yard.

How on earth did you break a pitchfork? Rock?
