Today's all hand meeting was a joke...and the joke is on my team.

The CEO of Operations started talking like we should know what is going on... about the organizational change, and the plans and how things would be different... Other people seemed to know all about it. I sent an instant messenger to a coworker and asked if I missed something. Did the Boston Boss talk to them and not bother to include me? She did not know and was lost as much as I was. The CEO really never said what was going to happen. I instant messaged my team leader in PA and asked if I missed something. She messaged back that she was sending messages trying to get some answers as she also has no idea what is happening.

Immediately after the email we get an org chart and I cannot find my team anywhere on it. I sent another message. She also agreed that none of us where there.

She made contact with the person who is supposed to be acting as out temporary director and we have a meeting at 9 AM tomorrow because the whole team is freaking out.

Personally I was looking forward to the recon team being moved under someone else. It may be happening but no one told us.

They still have to hire for directors for new areas, but my team does not know what these ares are.

Frankly I think the Boston Boss was supposed to fill us in, but didn't and she is on vacation in Florida.

My concerns:

Just what position do I have. Vida is claims and my other work is reconciliation. The dont mix. Where do I go?

Someone mentioned relocations to be on new teams. My concern is if they put me on a team in Rhode Island or in Framingham I cant get there. If I cant accept the job because I cant get there then I dont get a package. That has me worried. Although if they go that route I will report them to the labor board for time card issues.
