Yesterday started out with a migraine... not great for working on spread sheets.

Had trouble with The VISA Corp at work. Got no support from the Boss. She isn't talking to me much since my review where I said I was truly unhappy with the work situation. Not surprised at that, but the VISA situation is a risk to the bank, not to me personally. If I get a new boss because of the fabled reorganization I am going to stress the need to use a write off account ...not willy nilly...but with proper documentation. We just dont have the weight to fight VISA over $200.

Had a meeting with the team leader. I really like her. She was training me on some more balancing... with compared to VISA is as dull as shoveling for a living... and kept me from the research I needed to do with VISA. It was hard t focus on the phone meeting because of the migraine. For some reason my subconscious pointed me to some Pink salt on the stove (my office is my too small kitchen) Amazingly taking some salt cleared the migraine...yay, bit later not a yay as I could feel my BP was high for the rest of the night.

I had an issue with Dad. He wanted me to darn his acrylic compression socks. UUUMMM...no. He has money he can buy socks. That and I dont think you darn acrylic. Like I don't have enough to do. He said he was looking for special socks. I asked how was he looking as we haven't been to a Non grocery or hardware store in 13 months. I said that we could go to a store, but he didnt want to. He also couldn't tell me the name of the special socks he wanted so I couldn't really look on the internet. Oi.

I was able to cook outside on the grill. I arranged the new patio furnature and asked the neighbors if they wanted our old one. There was nothing wrong with the old set, its was just that I didn't want the high top table any more. They took it. Yay.

After 8 I sat down to do a painting lesson. It is a rock pond and while I sketched it out per the instructions, the actual painting didnt follow the sketch much. That confused me a bit, until I just told myself to do my own thing.

I didnt finish the lesson as the cat jumped up on my table and landed on my palette. His paws on Ultramarine blue and his tail in a Cad Yellow Hue...thankfully not real Cadmium. I grabbed him figuring I could rub some of the paint off on me. I was covered in blue. Was able to hold him and wet a towel and put it in the bottom of the sink and put him on top of it and wiped him with a sponge. There are still some stains on him, but he seem okay.

After that I showered and went to bed. I had a good 4 hours of sleep.

I hope to finish the lesson today.

If I were a painter, I could totally see one of my cats doing that - they all like to jump into the middle of whatever I have in front of me (which is why most of my hobbies are done in a closed room).
Enjoying the paintings btw - keep ‘em coming. =]

You must not let your father think you have 'axminster' written on your forehead!
