Apr. 17th, 2021 07:52 amI didn't get to paint much this week.
On Wednesday my hands hurt and I had a bit of the fever from the vaccine. I was also very tired. On Thursday my bones ached. I have read that it is a common thing. The weird thing is that all my teeth ached. Friday I was fine and started painting again.
On Thursday the team leader sends me a terse email reminding me to make sure every figure is accurate... I missed clearing a $20 credit with a $17.32 and a $2.68 debit. I decided I would not respond with anything more than Sorry. I work 40 accounts and do claims. I am going to miss things as I am human and I NEVER WANTED THIS JOB. Looking at font 3 sized numbers all day is not my strength and it causes eye fatigue.
I decided that I am not working if I don't feel well. I am sick of this. The only time I have ever called out in 5 years was when my Mom died. Friday morning I sent an email asking for a PTO day after my second vaccine. The bank is giving 8 hours for vaccination and I asked if it could be used for recovery as I did not feel well this week from it. I was approved. Funny how no one asked me how I was feeling. Oh well, maybe they will like doing all my accounts while I nap in a couple weeks. My coworkers are not getting the vaccine so they wont be doing the same thing.
On Monday we have a team meeting. I was hoping that we would get some info about the reorganization we were promised March. If we reorg I should find one of my functions gone. I shouldn't be auditing accounts and making payments to them at the same time. Sadly I found out that it was just a meeting to acknowledge that the Boston Boss has been with the bank 40 years. The coworkers were getting nervous so the team leader had to say something.
Oh well, today I paint and make soup since its chilly and soggy outside. I hope to finish the bear painting assignment and start another.

I'm not even in banking and I can tell that's a conflict of interest!
