ravena_kadeYesterday I went with Dad for his second vaccine shot.
When we came home I had planned to call Texas Uncle, but I never did it. I am reluctant. Texas Uncle does not pick up the phone. Texas Aunt does and you can tell it annoys her to do so. The last time I called she hung up on me and said she thought I was a telemarketer. Ummm...I called on the house phone. My Mom's phone for 50 years. You would think that number would be in their caller ID.
Instead of a dutiful phone call I lounged for a bit and made a meatloaf.
Today we went to the cousins for ceramics. There was a lot of mean talk about another cousin. I thought it was sad.
We left early because Dad was having some side effects from the vaccine. He was very tired and the injection site hurt. It was a good excuse to leave. He came home and napped. He never does that. He also went to bed early. I checked on him and he snoring away. Ill check on him when I get up tomorrow.
For dinner I gave hime left over meatloaf. I made myself some stir fried bok choy and shrimp. I was great. Simple, quick...reasonably healthy. Yum.
I need to try and get some sleep. I have the Sunday night anxiety over work thing going on. I did not do any work today. Fingers crossed that things are normal tomorrow.
