Yesterday I deleted a test file by mistake. It could not be recovered. I felt like a moron. Kinda wrecked the day.

Today I had my taxes done. Happy for a refund. It will help when they hold my pay next month.

The rest of the days plans changed when Dad decided to go to the cousins house to watch the baseball game. It messed up some plans, but it was better as the plans were not to my benefit. I had a good weekend day.

I had a friend check up on me. That was nice. The winter is not the greatest for me...and Covid winter has been harder. Isolation is not for me.

I had a Zoom call as well. Nice to see friendly faces and chat.

Worked on some crafts and did some puttering around the house.

The tax refund is welcome. I still can't believe your work is going to hold your pay, it's immoral, wrong, unprofessional, not the done thing. Whatever, it's not what decent companies would be doing in the 21st century however they want to spin it. Sounds like you had a decent couple of days anyway :)
