I really think if I had an abusive SO my family would tell me to put up with broken bones and black eyes.

sometimes i think it's helpful to sit down and dream; if you could do _anything_, what would you be doing? maybe there are little things that can change that will make overall improvements. i keep thinking about you and hoping stuff gets better. <3

Your family is not kind. I think you know that but I'm saying it anyway. They have no idea how life really works and they are kind of scary themselves.

the cousins live in a heard... they have no idea what it is to be a caregiver when there isn't 300k a year income.

My Dad has no clue. Just work. Its all he knows...but he is liked in his job. He isn't on the chopping block so he has no clue.

The cousins have no idea how limited my Dad is in all things but the same job he had since he was 17.
